This is a very common question that gets asked all the time, but it’s a tough one to answer because there is no right or wrong. CBD is specific to each and every person and the amount you need to take each day depends on many factors, such as your height, weight, lifestyle, severity of the condition you’re dealing with and more besides. Because of these factors, we recommend that you start with a small dose and then slowly increase your dosage as you see necessary.

If you’re brand new to CBD products then we would recommend starting with a lower dose of around 5-10mg of CBD per day depending on the method of ingestion you prefer. This will allow you to see how your body reacts to a small amount of CBD before you start to take more. Also, you should be aware that if you’ve never used CBD products before, you should allow at least 30 days of consistent use for CBD to start working with your body.

If you’ve been using CBD for a while now, we recommend taking 15-30mg of CBD per day (based on the average person). If you’re taking CBD because of a specific ailment or condition then it’s up to you to decide if you need more or less CBD. As an example, some of our users who are dedicated gym goers and athletes tend to take a moderate amount each day to help them with everyday problems like muscle aches, joint pains, cramp etc, whereas some of our other customers who struggle with more serious problems that can really affect their day to day life tend to use a higher dosage of CBD, but again, this is something you will have to work out for yourself.

There is no evidence to suggest that taking too much CBD can give you any negative side effects but we do ask that you do some research and try different doses until you find the amount that works for you. After all, if you’re taking more CBD than you need to then all you’re going to do is potentially waste product so it is important that you take the time to get it right.
